Charity Challenge : Presented by

March 1 to May 16, 2025
Participating company teams will support six Greater Waco charities —Mission Waco, Keep Waco Beautiful, Council for Life, Shepherd’s Heart, Friends for Life, and the Greater Waco Sports Commission—by making direct employee donations or volunteering their time. Donations must be sent directly to each charity (no third-party contributions), and only employee contributions will be counted.
To ensure accurate tracking, teams must report their time or donations using the designated forms provided by each nonprofit. These forms will allow the nonprofits to log contributions and volunteer hours appropriately.
Scoring Structure:
Earning Points:
Points are awarded in two categories—volunteering hours and cash donations. Each charity will score teams in both categories, and the final division ranking will be determined by averaging these scores.
Bonus Points:
- Donate to three charities: 15 bonus points
- Donate to four charities: 20 bonus points
- Donate to five charities: 25 bonus points
- Donate to six charities: 30 bonus points
Ranked Points:
- The 1st place team will receive 100 points, the 2nd place team 90 points, with scores decreasing incrementally by 10 points until the 9th place team receives 20 points.
- All teams finishing 10th or lower will receive 10 points, provided they have participated.
Monthly Updates:
Rankings will be published online and distributed through the team captain newsletter to keep everyone informed of the Charity Challenge progress.
