A few years ago, I could not walk a mile. Now, I have run multiple marathons. I was once chained to the idea that I would never be anything more than just a plus size woman.  

Becoming an Ironman has been my dream for years. I started working towards my dream as a triathlete two years ago. IRONMAN’s motto has been my mantra, “Anything is possible.” I knew that becoming an IRONMAN is what I was meant to become. No matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it will be, I will show that insecure, plus-size woman I used to be; I am so much more.   

 I am excited about Team Waco because I believe that when other women see me going after my dreams, it will also give them permission to go after their own dreams. The goal is to be able to cross the finish line. But I also understand the value of the journey by building new relationships with my teammates and seeing growth through training.  

When God gives you a dream, fight for it, go after it, and become who you were always meant to become. There is GREATNESS inside you.  I am incredibly honored to be a part of Team Waco 2024!
